This project is a meticulously crafted addition to a historic Spanish‑style home in beautiful San Clemente, California. Because the residence is recognized for its architectural significance, every detail of the new construction has been designed to honor and preserve the original character of the home. The addition follows the same timeless Spanish aesthetic—hand‑troweled stucco, clay roof tiles, warm earth tones, and classic architectural lines that define the region’s historic coastal homes.

Inside the home, the Spanish influence continues with authentic clay tile flooring throughout, including the stairs and bathroom areas. The staircase features beautiful decorative tile designs on the risers, adding color, artistry, and historic charm as you move through the levels of the home. These handcrafted details are preserved and extended into the new addition to maintain architectural continuity.

The second floor includes a large, luxurious bathroom designed to complement the home’s historic style while offering modern comfort. It features a spacious walk‑in shower finished with decorative tile on all walls from floor to ceiling. At the center of this shower sits a striking copper bathtub — a dramatic focal point that blends old‑world craftsmanship with contemporary luxury.
