My name is Isaias Rayo, and I’m the owner and licensed general contractor behind Rayo Builders Inc. My path into construction started with framing — the trade that taught me structure, precision, and how the strength of a home depends on the quality of what’s behind the walls. As the years went on, I made it a personal mission to learn every part of the building process. I didn’t want to be the kind of contractor who only understood one phase. I wanted to know how everything worked together — foundation, framing, mechanicals, waterproofing, finishes, and the final details that bring a project to life. That curiosity and commitment to learning shaped the builder I am today.

Before construction became my full‑time career, I worked in some of the most safety‑critical environments in the country. At 18, I worked at the San Onofre Nuclear Power Plant, where discipline, protocol, and attention to detail were mandatory. Later, I worked as a truck driver for an oil company and with Halliburton on fracking operations. Those jobs taught me responsibility, accountability, and how to operate under strict safety standards. Today, that mindset carries into every project — protecting homeowners, workers, and the integrity of the build.

I’ve always lived an active lifestyle. I boxed for years and played soccer for Escondido FC Heat, experiences that taught me resilience, teamwork, and mental toughness. Those qualities show up in my work every day — staying disciplined, staying focused, and pushing through challenges with a solutions‑first mindset.

Above everything, my family and kids come first. They’re the reason I work hard, the reason I stay committed to quality, and the reason I hold myself to a higher standard. Every project I take on reflects the values I want to pass down to them: honesty, effort, and pride in your work.

In 2025, I decided to start my own company after seeing how often people cut corners in this industry. I wanted to build a business that values honesty, safety, craftsmanship, and transparency — a company homeowners could trust with their biggest investment. Rayo Builders Inc. was built on that mission. Today, I focus on clear communication, reliable project management, and delivering work that stands the test of time. Every project is handled with care, respect, and a commitment to doing things the right way.
